We leave Bagan at mid-afternoon and have to go through Yangon to join Chang Tah, because there is no direct bus. After the first 16 hours, we arrive again at dawn on Yangon and we hesitate to even take the bus directly to browse the next 12 hours bus ride ahead of us ... we decide to rest one day in Yangon and have a good night in a real bed before taking the bus. The bus from 8 fails, we expect the replacement and we arrived at Pathein too late to catch our last bus. Having toured the pensions of the city and deal with a crook proprios we decide to leave the city by bike. We rent bikes then 2 taxis which take us on one of the most rotten roads in the country for 2 h, half of night ... we are exhausted and yet still find the energy to go around a few guesthouses, transported by our friendly drivers that we consider to have finally paid not so expensive that for conditions of the road traveled. We turn then 4 days of pure relaxation on the beach. In return, we take a direct bus that drops us 8am later in Yangon, to spend a few kyat before they left us to fly to Bangkok the following day.
Bagan verliesen Nachdem wir mussten wir zuerst nach Yangon um dann zurück nach Chang tah da es weiter zufahren Keien direkte Verbindung von Bagan gab. Das waren dann also wieder 16 + 8 + 3 Stunden die wir weitere Stunden brauchten da der Motor vom unserem Bus ausfiel und wir so auf einen neuen warten mussten. Also nach 27 Stunden kamen wir und erholt ausgeruht (wer's glaubt wird seelig) am Strand von Chang tah year. Man muss wohl noch sagen das wir die letzten 2 Tagen nicht im Bus sondern auf einem Motorrad da machen mussten wir unseren durch die Verspätung Anschlussbus verpassten. Nun hatten wir 4 nights each von Zeit zu den Strapazen erholen taten dies und wir dann auch bei gutem Essen und Sonnenbad, Schlaf und viel schönen Spatziergängen entlang der langen Strände. Die Rückfahrt verlief glatt und nach 8 Stunden kamen wir in Yangon year blieben dort noch eine Nacht gaben unsere letzten Kyat flogen aus und dann am nächsten morgen wieder zurück nach Bangkok.
